Subclass 188B Gold Medal Project of Australia Business Investment Immigration

Subclass 188B visa in the Investor stream is a 4 year temporary visa for investors who have engaged in investment activities (such as stocks, futures, funds, foreign exchange, etc.). Applicants are required to have exceptional investment experience. They can choose to make a designated investment in Australian government bonds and hold the designated investment for 4 years to be eligible for the permanent visa. Applicants must have lived in Australia for at least 2 year in the 4 years immediately before they apply for the permanent visa.

Eligibility:
1. You must be under 55.
2. Score at least 65 on the points test.
3. Make an investment of at least AUD1.5 million in Australian government bonds.
4. For the 2 fiscal years immediately before you apply, you (including your partner) must have net business and personal assets of at least AUD2.25 million.
5. Make an investment of at least AUD1.5 million for at least 3 years.
6. Have a detailed business plan for the establishment, operation and management of business in Australia.
