Successful approval of Australian 802 permanent residence visa for adult children

Release time:2020-06-19

According to the relevant policies and regulations of the Australian immigration service, the criterion for judging whether a visa applicant is an adult is whether he has reached the age of 18. So, can adult children still apply for Australian immigration through children visa? Yes, if a child has reached the age of 18 but not more than 25, as long as he is a full-time student and is financially dependent on his parents, he or she still has the opportunity to apply for immigration. If they are over 25 years old, the only exception is that their children are mentally or physically disabled and unable to work and can only be dependent on their parents. In either case, it is not difficult to see that the most important thing for adult children to apply for is the word "attachment". However, the definition of dependent children by the immigration bureau is relatively vague. Many parents who want to guarantee their adult children will be confused about how to prove their children's attachment. Here we will analyze an adult child 802 visa approval case.
Mr. X came to work in Australia a few years ago, and subsequently got an Australian pr. his wife, Ms. L, has been staying in China for work and family reasons, and their child Z has also been studying in China. Long term separation is not an option. After discussion, the three decided to come to Australia together to take care of each other, and the children could receive a better education in Australia. When Ms. l submitted her spouse visa application, the child was just over 22 years old. However, the child's visa as the spouse of the Deputy applicant was not approved. The reason was that the preparation of the relevant materials for the child was not sufficient, which led to the Immigration Bureau's view that child Z, as an adult child, did not constitute a dependency on Ms. L and Mr. X.
After entering Australia, Ms. L has been worried about her children. She still hopes to take her children to study and live. After consulting many parties, we found our immigrants from around Australia. After fully understanding the situation of Ms. L and Mr. X, our immigration agent learned that although the 22-year-old child Z is an adult, he has always been a full-time student. For many years, he is still dependent on his parents economically. The living expenses such as school fees, food, transportation, clothes and so on are borne by Ms. L and Mr. X. Our immigration agent immediately drew up a list of materials for them, fully prepared the materials to prove the adult children's attachment to their parents, arranged to submit a travel visa for their children, and then submitted 802 children's visa in China after successfully entering Australia. Now the children have successfully obtained the 802 children's visa, get PR status in one step, and can enjoy the postgraduate tuition fees much cheaper than international students.
