1. You can be any age to apply for this visa.
2. You must pass the health exam.
3. All applicants aged 18 or over must have functional English (IELTS 4.5 or equivalent score in PTE or other English language tests).
4. You must have an internationally recognised record of achievement in a profession, a sport, the arts or academia and research.
5. You must be nominated by an Australian citizen, permanent resident, eligible New Zealand citizen or an Australian organisation with a national reputation in the same field as you.
6. Your achievements are currently prominent in your field and internationally recognised.
7. Your contribution is of benefit to the Australian community.
8. You must be able to find work in your field in Australia.
 
GTI Global Talent Visa Program
1. In addition to the above requirements, you need to obtain an unique Invitation reference identifier and Invitation code before you apply for this visa.
2. You must be highly skilled in one of the 7 target sectors, including Agricultural Technology, Space and Advanced Manufacturing, Financial Technology, Energy and Mining Technology, Medical Technology, Cyber Security, and Quantum Information, Advanced Digital, Data Science and ICT.
3. You should have a salary of at least the Fair Work High income threshold of AUD153,600. Places are also available to recent PhD graduates or certain PhD students who are nearing completion of their thesis and can demonstrate their exceptional talent in the target sectors.
