The Permanent Residence Skilled Regional subclass 191 visa is for applicants who have lived and worked in specified areas of regional Australia on a previous eligible visa. With this visa, the applicants and members of their family unit can live and work permanently anywhere in Australia and enrol in Australia’s public health care scheme.
1. You must have a subclass 491 or 494 visa.
2. You must have lived for a total of at least 3 years in a regional or designated area of Australia.
3. You must have a taxable income at or above AUD53,900 for at least 3 years in a regional or designated area of Australia.
4. You must have complied with conditions of your eligible visa.
5. There is no language requirement for a subclass 491 or 494 visa holder.
6. You must be in good health and have no criminal record.
